Dear visitors, come celebrate Children's Day with us on 31 May at the CNB Visitor Centre in Prague.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., we've got a full day of activities lined up for you to enjoy, with something for visitors of all ages.
Do you want to find out which members of your family are strong enough to lift a gold bar? Marvel at the largest gold coin in Europe? Or experience first-hand how hard it is to keep inflation at the 2% target? You can do all this and more at our Exploring the Currency and People and Money exhibitions.
In addition to our two permanent exhibitions, you can look forward to creative workshops, balloon modelling, special treasure hunts and competitions with prizes.
Jakub Kunert, curator of the Oldřich Kulhánek's World of Banknotes exhibition, will guide you through the work of this renowned graphic artist and designer of our banknotes in two special curator-led tours.
The programme will also include the announcement of the third CNB Governor's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement of Financial and Economic Literacy. CNB Governor Aleš Michl will present the award to an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to advancing this important area of education in the Czech Republic. Come and find out who this year's winner is.
You'll find all this and much more at the CNB Visitor Centre in Prague on 31 May 2025 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We're already looking forward to it – how about you?
