Kulhánek's World of Banknotes

We invite you to a thematic Saturday dedicated to the graphic work of Oldřich Kulhánek – a prominent Czech artist whose distinctive style can be found not only in numerous significant artworks but also on current Czech banknotes.

The programme connects art, technique, and the intricate beauty of banknote design:

• 14.00 – 15.00 guided author's tour of  the exhibition with Jakub Kunert, Chief Archivist of the CNB
• A graphic workshop for all age groups, where participants will have the opportunity to create their own artwork using a special technique similar to linocut
• Screenings of short animations revealing fascinating details hidden in Czech banknotes
• Screening of film on the design process of banknotes, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their creation

Except the graphic workshop, the programme is available in Czech only.
