New bookings are open!

Bring your class on guided tours of the CNB's two exhibitions in Prague and one in Brno.

The new and interactive Exploring the Currency exhibition will help pupils and students understand how the central bank and the economy work. The People and Money exhibitions present the history of the Czech banking industry and currency. One is located in Prague, in an impressive former strong room, and the other in Brno, the capital city of Moravia. In Brno, you can also discover the Beauty in Glass and Metal in an exhibition of the extensive works of sculptor and medal-maker Jiří Harcuba. The Prague exhibitions also include a temporary exhibition of large-scale photographs by Herbert Slavík, which show the central bank's building from unusual angles.
Visits to all the exhibitions are free of charge.

We have prepared accompanying materials and worksheets for pupils and students for all tours. If you want to get your class ready for the visit, you can take advantage of pre-visit materials for pupils and teachers. You can also make use of worksheets that will help pupils consolidate their knowledge after the visit.

If your pupils love escape games, you can finish off your tour of the Visitor Centre in the vicinity of the central bank, where we have prepared a hunt for financial scammers. You can simply download the educational action game to your smartphones using information you'll receive at the Visitor Centre's reception desk, and head off on an almost 2 km-long adventure full of codes and riddles.

You can book a visit in English or a tour with special requirements (e.g. adapted for visitors with various disabilities, or focusing on a selected topic) at infoNC@cnb.cz or by calling +420 224 412 626.

We look forward to seeing you.
