Opening hours and special events in July

Dear visitors,

There'll be a few temporary changes to our opening hours this July.

All the CNB Visitor Centre's exhibitions will be closed for the public holidays on Friday, 5 July and Saturday, 6 July 2024.
The People and Money exhibition in Prague, located in a former strongroom, will be closed for technical reasons on Tuesday, 16 July and Wednesday, 17 July 2024. The Exploring the Currency exhibition will remain open.

We've put together two special events for  the first month of the school holidays. The first – on Saturday, 13 July 2024 – will be on exotic destinations. Then on Saturday, 27 July, we'll be finding out how to get there and elsewhere with an event on means of transport as depicted on legal tender and commemorative coins.

You can visit our exhibitions in Prague at any time during the summer months without having to make a reservation. However, if you'd like to reserve a place on a guided tour or book a visit to our exhibitions in Brno, please use our reservation system.
