We're celebrating our first birthday!

It's almost hard to believe that the CNB Visitor Centre will celebrate its first birthday in May. The year has just flown by, and we are delighted to see that more than 60,000 of you have joined in on our educational programmes, accompanying activities and special events.

Come celebrate this important milestone with us on Saturday, 20 May. We've organised a special birthday programme for you at our Prague exhibitions from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Join us for tours of our permanent and short-term exhibitions, along with interactive activities, creative workshops and competitions. All are welcome - from the youngest visitors to senior citizens.

Magician Pavel Dolejška will provide entertainment throughout the day.

And what's in store for you?

• The People and Money exhibition in the original strong room, focusing on the history of money and central banking
• The interactive Exploring the Currency exhibition presenting the current roles of the central bank
• The Breakup! exhibition commemorating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Czech and Slovak currencies
• Creative workshops
• Accompanying interactive activities
• Competitions with prizes to be won
• Entertainment and education

Don't forget that you can also visit our Brno exhibition on Saturday, 20 May as part of the Brno Museum Night. Here too visitors can look forward to an interesting accompanying programme, along with a tour of the People and Money and Beauty in Glass and Metal exhibitions.
