In the Czech Republic, the archives managed by the CNB are one of the most important sources of the economic history of the Czech Lands and Central Europe in the last two centuries.
The archive materials enable researchers to study not only the history of the business activities and strategies of financial institutions, but also the operation of a wide range of the Czech and Czechoslovak industrial and commercial companies or public institutions that borrowed from them.
In our research room, you can study up to 7,354.85 metres of archive documents and 96 archive collections.
Additional information is available at https://www.cnb.cz/cs/o_cnb/archiv-cnb/.
